No matter what stage of recovery* you are in, come talk to the professionals at Gracer Behavioral Health Services about PROMETA.
PROMETA may be appropriate at any stage of recovery, ranging from detoxification to maintenance of abstinence, the period where the alcohol or substance dependent person may struggle with ongoing cravings.

Treatment targeted to the needs of alcohol or substance dependent people.
For most people, the start of treatment requires only a brief two to three day series of outpatient procedures, although some patients may require a short in-patient or hospital stay. Continuing care, also known as aftercare, is also encouraged and provided by Gracer Behavioral Health Services.

Treatment designed to meet a spectrum of patient needs.

  • Physiological:
Medications in PROMETA target the chemical receptors in the brain and nerves that are impacted by alcohol and substance dependence.
  • Nutritional: Nutrition therapy is an integral part of our program because nutritional supplements help replace some of the important vitamins that become depleted in alcohol and substance dependent people.
  • Psychological:
Counseling and support groups provide are vital to long term recovery from addiction and are provided by our Behavioral Health services staff as part of our program.

*The PROMETA treating physician must make the treatment decision for each individual patient regarding appropriateness of using PROMETA during the detoxification, or any other stage, of alcohol, cocaine, or methamphetamine dependence recovery.
